The Growth Management Services gives young entrepreneurs access to a number of tools to coach them through the business start-up process:
 

Diagnostics and action plan

At the first meeting, the entrepreneur and the SAJE accompagnateur d'entrepreneurs consultant work together to determine the promoter's needs and establish an action plan to serve as a guide for the support provided.

Workshops, courses and clinics

Entrepreneurs enrolled in the Growth Management Services access specialized resources which help them expand their knowledge of the different aspects of business management. Individual and group format.

Online support

Using interactive tools, entrepreneurs in the Growth Management Services can get answers to most of their business management questions. Through a virtual consultant, the discussion form and special events (online chats with recognized experts), entrepreneurs can access valuable information and discuss business with other entrepreneurs and management specialists.

Phone support

Phone support gives entrepreneurs rapid access to a consultant who can answer general business management questions. This type of support is not designed for developing major strategies or doing long-term planning, but it can meet an urgent need or provide an answer to a specific question.

Laboratory support

Laboratory support allows entrepreneurs to work on specific issues (financial projections, marketing plan, market study) under the supervision of a consultant who can guide them through the various stages of the task.

Individual support

The Growth Management Services gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to access individual support from consultants who specialize in the various aspects of business management. After the first meeting, the diagnostics and action plan provide specific information about whether this type of support is needed. If so, the consultants visit the entrepreneur to provide support as they grow the business and offer regular follow-up at least five times a year.

 
All of the Growth Management consultants have solid experience in one or more fields of management. In addition, depending on the entrepreneur’s progress and direction, the consultant can call on the expertise of other resources from the Follow-up Centre to provide effective, targeted support.

Eligibility criteria

  • be aged between 18 and 35 years old AND
  • have been in business for less than 4 years AND
  • have a business located on the Island of Montreal
